Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager – Sales and Logistics to lead sales growth, distribution expansion, team performance, and end-to-end logistics operations. The candidate will ensure efficient product availability, timely deliveries, cost control, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sales strategies, revenue plans, and territory-wise targets.
- Expand and manage distributor, stockist, wholesale, and retail networks.
- Drive sales across General Trade, Up-to-date Trade, and institutional channels.
- Lead sales teams, monitor performance, and ensure target achievement.
- Identify new markets and monitor competitor activities.
- Oversee transportation, fleet utilisation, delivery routes, and logistics costs.
- Coordinate inventory, warehousing, dispatch, and product availability.
- Align sales forecasts with production and stock requirements.
- Monitor customer payments, outstanding receivables, and credit limits.
- Prepare sales,



inventory, logistics, and performance reports for management.
- Improve operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in FMCG sales, distribution, and logistics management.
- Experience in sales team leadership, distributor management, and target achievement.
- Knowledge of inventory control, transportation, demand forecasting, and collections.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.
- Experience in packaged foods, flour, staples, or agro-food manufacturing is preferred.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
