Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join our Developer Experience team. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable, resilient, and customer-focused applications while improving developer productivity through automation, observability, and modern engineering practices.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design and deliver self-service platforms, scalable backend systems, and intuitive frontend experiences that support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using modern engineering practices
• Apply algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to build robust and maintainable solutions
• Architect and develop resilient customer-facing web applications and backend services
• Develop new features and enhance existing platforms through automation and continuous improvements
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development methodologies
• Build reusable modules, workflows, and tooling to standardize development practices across teams
• Contribute to observability and operational excellence through logging, monitoring, metrics, alerting, and instrumentation
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to uphold engineering quality and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to evolving development standards and engineering guidelines




• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
• Support production systems through troubleshooting, issue triaging, and on-call rotations

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as:
o ReactJS
o TypeScript
o Node.js
• Strong understanding of scalable system design and distributed applications
• Experience designing, building, and deploying highly available cloud-native applications
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
• Ability to independently break down requirements into technical tasks and deliver effectively
• Solid stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
• Experience monitoring production environments and resolving production issues
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with version control systems and issue tracking tools (Git, Jira, etc.)

• Experience in e-commerce platforms or high-scale consumer applications
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Engineering or Developer Experience platforms
• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation frameworks
