Job Purpose: The Central or Site Setting Executive is responsible for supporting the Environment Lead in ensuring environmental compliance and stewardship across mining operations. This role involves assisting with the implementation of environmental management systems, coordinating with regulatory bodies, conducting monitoring activities, and preparing reports to maintain adherence to environmental standards and regulations.

Responsibilities




Environmental Strategy and Compliance Oversight

Develop and implement cluster-wide environmental strategies that align with corporate sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

Ensure seamless coordination for environmental approvals including Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), and other applicable regulatory permits.

Drive policy standardization and environmental best practices across all sites to ensure uniform compliance.

Monitor legislative updates and regulatory changes, ensuring timely adaptation across the cluster.

Governance, Risk Management, and Sustainability Initiatives

Lead cluster-level environmental risk assessments, identifying gaps and implementing mitigation strategies.

Develop governance frameworks to track compliance, manage environmental liabilities, and enhance reporting accuracy.

Champion sustainable resource management initiatives, including water cons
