The External Reporting function oversees financial statements and management reporting and helps ensure a sound control setting. The team understands and applies accounting treatments to support compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. We coordinate the preparation of quarterly regulatory requirements, validate balance sheet items, and understand balance sheet usage and reporting.

As an analyst within the External Reporting function, you will support the oversight of financial statements and management reporting while helping maintain a sound control environment. You will consolidate and analyze quarterly financial data, coordinate results and requirements across partners, and support the production and filing of periodic regulatory reports. You will apply accounting and regulatory requirements to help ensure accurate and complete submissions to regulators and internal stakeholders.



You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on data quality and external reporting processes.
Job responsibilities

• Apply up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting

• Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness, including quarter-over-quarter variance analysis

• Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting teams

• Assist in the assessment of issues and outcomes

• Communicate financial information to lines of business and flag potential issues

• Participate in the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for regulatory agencies
