Accountabilities:
As a Charge Entry Specialist,



you will manage daily charge entry activities, verify billing documentation, and help ensure that healthcare claims are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Enter clinical charges, patient demographic information, and insurance details into Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with speed and accuracy.

Review medical encounter documentation, superbills, and charge tickets to confirm completeness, accuracy, and correct application of fee schedules.

Verify insurance eligibility, coverage perks, authorizations, and patient financial responsibility when required.

Identify missing documentation, modifiers, and coding inconsistencies, escalating discrepancies for clarification and resolution.
