Junior Global Markets Sales Analyst, FX & Rates

## About the Role
As a Junior Global Markets Sales Analyst, you will be part of the Global Markets Institutional Sales team, primarily supporting marketers in Global Market Sales for FX and rates flow and solutions products. Your role will involve deepening relationships with existing clients and developing new relationships through innovative product ideas, efficient pricing, precise execution, and enhancing client confidence.

## Key Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the Global Markets Institutional Sales team, catering to institutional clients across FX, rates, and fixed income.
- Work closely with the Head of Desk, progressing towards independently advising on and executing FX and rate transactions.
- Assist with pricing various macro products as per client requirements, both independently and in collaboration with structuring/trading teams.
- Understand FX and rates market conventions, liquidity, and regulatory nuances.
- Stay abreast of the latest market news and events, providing clients with regular macro and FX market views, particularly on currencies and cross-currency markets.
- Develop strong client relationships and proactively identify hedging opportunities.
- Understand FX and Rates products and generate relevant trade, hedging, and structured product ideas.
- Collaborate closely with Trading, Structuring, and other Global Markets teams.




- Ensure all pre-trade checks are properly performed (e.g., credit lines, product suitability, regulatory compliance under EMIR).
- Ensure trades are accurately booked in the relevant booking systems.
- Help prepare term-sheets pre and/or post trades as and when required.
- Develop a positive understanding of internal Banks tools as well as external data/communication tools used in Global Markets, such as Reuters and Bloomberg.
- Work with operational support functions to facilitate and monitor the settlement process.
- Provide analysis and modeling expertise, supporting new product development.
- Liaise as appropriate with relevant internal control functions: Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk Management.
- Comply with all relevant internal and external regulatory requirements and demonstrate the highest level of professional conduct.
- Attend relevant regulatory and product/skill trainings.

## Requirements
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Basic interest in global markets.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated drive for results.
- Good working understanding of tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point.
