We are looking for Software Engineers with open-source development experience to contribute to a project focused on software engineering and AI evaluation.

The role involves working with real-world codebases to create challenging tasks around bug fixing, feature development, code refactoring, and performance optimization.

What You'll Do

- Create realistic software engineering tasks involving debugging, feature implementation, refactoring, and optimization.
- Work with diverse and unfamiliar codebases.
- Develop reproducible environments and reference solutions for assigned tasks.
- Analyze and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement robust and maintainable features.
- Review and validate code submissions for technical accuracy.
- Document technical reasoning and solution approaches.

What We're Looking For





- Solid hands-on experience with one or more of Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with debugging, code review, feature implementation, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work with large or unfamiliar codebases.
- Strong analytical and logical-thinking skills.
- Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
- Open-source contributions and a verifiable GitHub profile are preferred.
- Candidates without sufficient GitHub evidence may be asked to complete a technical assessment.
