Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Weekly Off: As per applicable statutory requirements

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage medicine

procurement, storage, inventory, dispensing, and documentation at the Occupational Health

Centre (OHC). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling of medicines,

maintaining adequate stock levels, and complying with applicable statutory and safety

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 Ensure the safe storage and proper handling of purchased medicines and maintain

custody of all drugs.

 Assist in preparing medicine procurement requirements as per OHC needs.

 Maintain medicine stock records and dispense medicines as required.

 Verify drug inventory on a weekly basis and ensure minimum stock levels are

maintained.

 Assist in procuring recent medicines and fulfilling OHC requirements.

 Coordinate the timely return of expired medicines to vendors and ensure proper disposal

of pharmaceutical waste as per applicable guidelines.

 Maintain accurate online and offline records of medicine purchases, storage, dispensing,

and disposal for internal and external audits.





 Assist in obtaining and renewing drug licences and fulfilling other applicable compliance

requirements.

 Ensure continuity of pharmacy operations by coordinating with the concerned team for

alternate arrangements during planned or emergency absences.

 Participate in mandatory training sessions as directed by the employer or vendor.

 Maintain professional relationships with the OHC team, management, vendors, and other

stakeholders.

 Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the OHC or the principal

employer.

Eligibility Criteria

 Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) from a recognized

institution.

 Valid pharmacist registration with the State Pharmacy Council, as applicable.

 Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

 Basic knowledge of medicine storage, dispensing, inventory management, and pharmacy

documentation.

 Good communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

 Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable pharmacy

regulations.

 Weekly off as per applicable statutory requirements.
