Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our growing SaaS and technology company in a broad-based finance role, reporting directly to the CFO.

The role combines financial accounting and controllership, management reporting, business finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), statutory compliance and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, sound financial understanding and the ability to independently manage finance operations while supporting business planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Controllership

- Manage revenue accounting, billing, collections, reconciliations and day-to-day financial operations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closures.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and working capital management.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records, accounting entries and reconciliations.

Management Reporting & Business Finance

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, management dashboards and financial analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and variance analysis.
- Track business performance, revenue, profitability and relevant SaaS metrics.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Assist the CFO with FP&A;, business planning and strategic finance initiatives.

Taxation,



Audit & Compliance

- Manage GST, TDS and other applicable direct and indirect tax compliances.
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits and regulatory filings.
- Maintain internal financial controls, documentation and compliance records.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and financial reporting requirements.

Process Improvement & Automation

- Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen finance processes.
- Support automation of accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Improve financial controls, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency as the business scales.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience

- Semi Qualified CA, CA Inter Qualified, CA Finalist, CA Final Attempted or CA Articleship Completed.
- Candidates who have discontinued pursuing CA Final but possess solid practical finance and accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
- B.Com graduates with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation and financial operations will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant practical experience for candidates with a CA background, with preference for hands-on experience beyond articleship.





Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation and audit processes.
- Practical experience in GST, TDS, reconciliations and financial closing activities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.
- Good analytical ability, commercial understanding and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and take end-to-end ownership.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in a SaaS, technology or subscription-based business.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, FP&A; and management reporting.
- Understanding of SaaS business metrics, revenue recognition and financial performance analysis.
- Experience in finance process improvements, automation or ERP implementation.
