About SRCo Academy

Service Robot Co. (SRCo) installs and services robots: cleaning, delivery, warehouse, security, inspection and more. SRCo Academy is our online, text-first course that trains robot field technicians. It has about 20 modules. Most of its video is real robot footage. Where no good clip exists, such as networking or basic electrical, we need short 2D animations that explain one idea clearly.

What you will do

- Build short 2D explainer videos (30 to 90 seconds) in code.
- Use Remotion (React) or similar code-based tools for animation, labels and captions.
- Animate clear diagrams of robots and concepts: sensors, motors, batteries, wiring and networking.
- Work from written storyboards we provide. Suggest better visuals when you see them.
- Use commercially licensed stock from Envato Elements or LottieFiles when it helps. Record the license for each asset.
- Follow the SRCo design system (Manrope, our green, plenty of white space) and keep one consistent style: colors, type, icons, motion timing, and reusable components.
- Render final MP4s and keep all source in our GitHub repo.




- Make small revisions after technical review.

What we are looking for

- Required: a portfolio of 2D motion graphics or animated explainers.
- Remotion, Motion Canvas, or other code-based animation.
- React and TypeScript.
- Technical explainer work: showing how things work, not just ads. Robotics or engineering topics are a plus.
- Explicit written English and comfort working async.
- Good Git habits: clean commits and pull requests.

Nice to have

- Lottie or After Effects.
- SVG, diagram or data-visualization skills.
- Experience building component libraries for video.

How it works

- Paid pilot: one clip, such as basic electrical (Ohm's law). This tests fit for both sides.
- If the pilot goes well, we continue module by module wherever a 2D explainer is needed.
