Assistant Facility Manager - Soft Services
Position Overview
Manages non-technical facility services including cleaning, catering, security, landscaping, and waste management to ensure high-quality workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management Oversee daily soft services delivery (cleaning, catering, reception, security, mail services). Ensure services meet SLAs through regular inspections and performance monitoring.
Vendor Management Manage soft services contractors and suppliers.
Monitor performance against KPIs, conduct service reviews, and coordinate contractor compliance and access.
Quality & Compliance Conduct service audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement corrective actions and maintain audit documentation.
Budget Control Track soft services expenses, review invoices, and identify cost optimization opportunities within delegated authority.
Stakeholder Relations Serve as primary contact for soft services issues. Respond to occupant requests and complaints professionally while building positive client relationships.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience: 2-4 years in facility management with soft services focus. IWFM/IFMA certification advantageous.
