About the role
As a member of the Vulnerability Management and Patching team, you will help strengthen the organization’s security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation, and supporting effective patch management across the technology setting. The role involves working closely with system owners and application teams to drive timely remediation while maintaining visibility into vulnerability, patching, and compliance status.
Your key responsibilities
• Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.
• Coordinate remediation and mitigation activities with system owners and application teams.
• Track vulnerability remediation progress, metrics,
and compliance status.
• Maintain vulnerability management documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Administer and maintain IBM BigFix infrastructure for patch deployment and compliance reporting.
• Develop and test custom Fixlets, baselines, and automation scripts.
• Schedule and deploy operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Support vulnerability remediation across Windows and Linux server environments.
• Monitor patch deployment successes and failures and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Generate compliance reports and dashboards to support internal reporting and audit requirements.
What you bring
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and management using Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar tools.
• Experience administering IBM BigFix and managing enterprise patch deployments.
