Software Engineer II

Job Summary
NCR VOYIX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II to join our Retail Software Engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, modernization, implementation, and support of software solutions for retail and store technology products.
The ideal candidate will possess strong .NET development expertise, a solid foundation in software engineering principles, and experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
This role requires ownership of complex software solutions from design through deployment, while contributing to modernization initiatives involving cloud technologies, DevOps practices, AI-assisted development, and modern application architectures

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of qualified software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, REST APIs, JavaScript, XML, SQL, and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
• Experience with GitHub, Visual Studio, Agile methodologies, code reviews, and testing practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
