Maintenance Engineer for Machine Overhauling Job Description Who you are/: Plans, schedules, and executes preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment. Quickly diagnose and repair unplanned equipment failures to prevent them from happening again by analyzing the root cause using Root Cause Failure Analysis /(RCFA/). Monitor critical plant utilities and infrastructure such as air compressors, boilers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, transformers, electrical substations, and water treatment plants. Deploy condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing to detect potential equipment failures before they occur. Manage computerized maintenance management systems /(CMMS such as SAP PM/) to record work orders, track machine history, maintain maintenance logs, and monitor MTBF/MTTR metrics.



Maintain optimal inventory levels of critical spare parts, electrical components, hydraulic valves, motors and bearings to optimize inventory costs and avoid stockouts. Ensures compliance with strict plant environmental safety /(EHS/) policies, lockout/tagout /(LOTO/) protocols, hot work permits, and safety procedures for high/-risk maintenance.
