Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer / Associate Design Engineer to support instrumentation engineering, technical documentation, and electrical and instrumentation drawing preparation for industrial projects. The role involves reviewing P&IDs;, preparing instrument datasheets and indexes, developing wiring and loop diagrams, and working with field instruments and valves. The candidate should have positive working knowledge of AutoCAD, a basic understanding of PLC programming, and a willingness to support site visits and project commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret P&ID; drawings.

• Prepare and review instrumentation documentation, including Instrument Datasheets,



Instrument Index, and related engineering documents.

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation drawings, including Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), Cable Block Diagrams, and Instrument Loop Diagrams.

• Prepare and interpret instrument installation and hook-up drawings.

• Use AutoCAD to prepare and modify engineering drawings.

• Work with field instruments, including Pressure Gauges, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Flowmeters, Thermocouples, and RTDs.

• Understand different types of valves, including Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Butterfly Valves, Pneumatic-Operated Valves, and Motorized Valves.

• Apply basic PLC programming knowledge using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider.

• Support site activities related to instrument installation and project commissioning.

• Understand the basic requirements of weatherproof and flameproof instruments.
