Introduction to the team:

We’re the Insurance team at Expedia Group. We build services and customer experiences that help travelers find and manage trip-protection options across brands such as Expedia, Vrbo, and Hotels.com.
Our systems connect insurance suppliers and their products to multiple points in the travel journey, including checkout, post-purchase,



and trip management. We focus on making these experiences reliable, clear, and easy to use.

In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software that delivers reliable, accessible, and intuitive customer experiences.
• Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions using contemporary software development technologies and sound engineering practices.
• Contribute to low-level system design, API design, and data modeling to support maintainable, resilient, and secure applications.
• Own features or components through design, implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, design, and other technical teams to deliver outcomes across multiple problem spaces.
