About the role: We are seeking an experienced Component Engineering Manager to lead component engineering activities across new product development, sustaining engineering, and value engineering initiatives.



This role will be responsible for component lifecycle management, alternate part qualification, obsolescence mitigation, regulatory compliance, engineering change management, and cost optimization while providing technical leadership across global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing Component Engineering team
· Lead component engineering strategy and governance across product portfolios.
· Drive alternate component identification, evaluation, qualification, and implementation.
· Manage component lifecycle activities, including obsolescence monitoring, EOL notifications, and Last Time Buy (LTB) planning.
· Establish and execute proactive obsolescence management and risk mitigation programs.
· Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, including RoHS, REACH, PFAS, California Proposition 65, Conflict Minerals, and SCIP.
