Take on a critical role in the final stages of a Workday Compensation implementation supporting complex shipboard workforce operations. As a hands-on compensation leader, you will oversee testing, validate system configurations, and help ensure a successful go-live targeted for January 1. You will work with intricate compensation structures involving union agreements, job-specific pay rates, allowances, bonuses, and collective bargaining requirements. Collaborating closely with HR, HRIS, HR Technology, Compensation teams, and systems integration partners, you will identify defects and drive their timely resolution. You will also provide practical leadership to contractors and potentially one or two direct reports. This prospect is ideal for an experienced Workday professional who combines strong technical implementation expertise with a solid HR background and a deep understanding of unionized compensation.

Accountabilities:
As a Workday Compensation Manager, you will lead final-stage testing and implementation activities to ensure accurate compensation calculations, reliable system integrations, and operational readiness for go-live.

Lead final integration testing and validation between Workday Compensation and the MAPS crew management and scheduling system.

Review and validate Workday Compensation configurations to ensure alignment with business requirements and complex shipboard compensation policies.

Verify compensation rules, union requirements, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), pay rates, allowances, bonuses, and other compensation elements.

Identify configuration defects, integration failures, and compensation discrepancies, coordinating corrective actions with the systems integrator (SI).
