Stack background, useful for screening, but treat it as context rather than a checklist:
Vue 3 + TypeScript is our stack (Composition API, strict TS, Vite, Tailwind, component design system). Deep Vue experience is the default screen.
Strong React/Angular engineers are in scope if they have real TypeScript depth and have demonstrably picked up new frameworks quick. Flag these candidates explicitly rather than filtering them out.
What we screen on:
TypeScript depth, not years served. Can model a domain in the type system, not just annotate function arguments.
Data-dense UI at scale.
AG Grid, TanStack Table, or a custom virtualized grid. Hierarchical data, infinite scroll or server-side row models, and inline editing with validation.
Server-state discipline.
Has used TanStack/React Query, SWR, or RTK Query as the data layer of a real app. Caching, invalidation, optimistic updates.

Correctness with numbers and dates.
Currency, precision, rounding, negative values, periods and timezones. This matters when the number on screen becomes a booked entry.
