Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to support internet banking applications, middleware platforms, and containerized applications running on OpenShift. The candidate will be responsible for production monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, application availability, and ensuring smooth banking operations.
The ideal candidate should have experience supporting critical banking applications in a 24/7 production workplace, with strong troubleshooting skills across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Internet Banking Application Support
• Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for internet banking and digital banking applications.
• Monitor application availability, transaction processing,



and banking services.
• Troubleshoot login issues, fund transfer failures, payment errors, session timeouts, and transaction discrepancies.
• Analyze application logs and coordinate with development, database, network, and infrastructure teams.
• Support banking interfaces, API integrations, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
• Ensure adherence to banking security standards, audit requirements, and change management procedures.

2. Middleware Support
• Support middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly, Apache Tomcat, or Oracle WebLogic.
• Monitor application servers, JVM health, thread pools, connection pools, and server resources.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, application connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and server errors.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot HTTP errors, including 500, 502, 503, and 504.
