Position - Design Engineer - Electrical
Qualification - BE / BTech - Electrical Engineering
Experience - min. 3 years

Job Description -
• Design support for HT, LT and ELVS systems including SLDs, layouts, BOQ, specifications, datasheets and construction drawings.
• Calculations for transformer, DG, UPS, HT/LT panels, cables, cable tray, switchgear, earthing, lighting, power, voltage drop and load schedules.
• Preparation of lighting, power, UPS, earthing, cable tray, cable schedule, DB/panel schedule and equipment power supply layouts.
• ELVS design support for Fire Alarm, PA, CCTV, Access Control & Door Interlock, Data/Telephone and related schematics/BOQ.
• Coordination with Revit/BIM Modeler, Projects, HVAC, Mechanical, Process, Civil and Instrumentation teams, vendors and site team for inputs, comment compliance and drawing revisions.

Technical Competencies -
• Conversant with relevant IS / IEC / NBC / NFPA standards and electrical design practices.




• Knowledge of HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS, PCC/MCC/DB panels, earthing, lightning protection and ELVS systems.
• Ability to prepare accurate calculations, BOQ, schedules, specifications and coordinated construction drawings.

Behavioral Competencies -
• Follow company code of ethics and quality procedures.
• Positive written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to take instructions from Chief Engineer / Lead Engineer and complete tasks within timelines.
• Willing to learn, coordinate with team and handle high work volume when required.

Software Competencies -
• MS Word
