Role Description

The Sales Development Representative - Trainee is a full-time, fully remote role based in India. This position involves researching and identifying potential clients among tech startups, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales team with outreach activities. The trainee will make outbound calls, send emails, and engage prospects via digital channels to introduce Gocount’s services and schedule meetings for sales managers. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, following up on inbound inquiries, collaborating with business development and marketing teams, and continuously improving outreach strategies.



The role also includes learning sales processes, participating in training sessions, and contributing to a positive, goal-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess robust Communication and Sales skills to conduct effective outreach and support deal progression.
• Candidates should possess Business Development skills to help grow Gocount’s presence within the tech startup ecosystem.
• Basic understanding of financial or professional services is beneficial; interest in tech startups and SaaS is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and handle multiple prospects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with CRM or sales tools, and common productivity applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email, presentations).
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is a plus but not mandatory
