Job Summary:
Responsible for maintenance, reliability and availability of HEMM equipment, Tipper, ensuring secure and uninterrupted mining and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain HEMM fleet: excavators, dumpers, dozers, loaders, graders, drills and DG sets
• Must have maintenance knowledge in Volvo Tipper (FMX460 & FMX500)
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance as per OEM guidelines
• Ensure high equipment availability and reduced downtime
• Analyze breakdowns and implement reliability improvement measures
• Ensure compliance with DGMS, Mines Act and safety SOPs
• Plan critical spares and coordinate with stores/material teams
• Supervise mechanical manpower at site
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and MIS
Qualification & Experience
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-8 years in HEMM maintenance in mining operation
