Pre Sales & Business Development Executive

Role Summary:
People Matters is looking for a proactive, research-oriented, and commercially driven Pre-Sales Executive – Sales & Partnerships to support the growth of its Southeast Asia business.
This role will work closely with the regional Sales & Partnerships team to identify new business opportunities, map prospective clients, build targeted prospect lists, and develop compelling sales proposals aligned with client business objectives.

The individual will play a critical role in enabling net-new client acquisition and revenue growth by researching HRTech and WorkTech companies, understanding their go-to-market priorities, identifying relevant decision-makers, and translating business opportunities into customised proposals across People Matters’ integrated media, content, demand generation, and event platforms.

and regional business development across the fast-evolving HRTech ecosystem in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
1. Net-New Business Development Support
· Research and identify prospective clients across Southeast Asia, including HRTech, SaaS, Talent Solutions, Learning & Development, Payroll, Recruitment, Employee Experience, AI, and workforce consulting.
· Build and maintain targeted prospect databases covering company profiles, business priorities, target markets, key decision-makers, and relevant contact information.
· Identify potential buying triggers, such as market expansion, product launches, new leadership appointments, funding announcements, and regional marketing initiatives.

2. Pre-Sales Research & Proposal Development
· Map client objectives to People Matters solutions, including conferences, sponsorships, content marketing, research studies, digital demand generation, podcasts, exec
