About Our Client:
We are pre-revenue and launch within the next quarter, with Amazon and quick commerce as core
launch channels. These channels are also where margins are won or lost, through ad spend, fees, fulfilment and discounting. We need one senior owner who has taken brands from zero on these platforms and can give every brand a shared playbook, the right team and open doors at the platforms. This person designs the playbook and the org behind it, and does not run campaigns
day to day.

Role Overview:




We are looking for an experienced Food Product Lead to build and launch food products from concept to commercial production. The role involves identifying market opportunities, developing differentiated products, defining pricing and margins, and managing the end-to-end product development process through manufacturing and launch.

Key Responsibilities:
• Category Research & Product Strategy: Benchmark competitors, identify market gaps, define product positioning, and develop explicit product briefs.
• Product Development & R&D;: Lead recipe development with food technologists and manage sensory, consumer, and shelf-life testing.
• Pricing & Costing: Develop pricing strategies, maintain detailed product cost sheets, and ensure healthy margins from pilot to bulk production.
• Manufacturing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturers; negotiate pricing and MOQs; and oversee pilot and bulk production.
• Packaging Development: Select suitable packaging formats and material
