Role Description The Actor Model role at ISHARA is a full-time position based in Mumbai, offered in a hybrid format that combines in office work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Actor Model will participate in educational and awareness campaigns,
portraying medically accurate scenarios to communicate key messages about maternal and child health, AMR, and climate-related health challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include rehearsing scripts, participating in video shoots or live demonstrations, collaborating with medical and creative teams to refine narratives, and adapting performances for different audiences and platforms. The role also involves giving feedback on scripts to ensure clarity and cultural relevance, as well as supporting social media and digital content by performing in short informational clips or voiceovers. The Actor Model will work closely with educators, healthcare professionals, and media staff to deliver consistent, impactful storytelling aligned with ISHARA’s mission.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated acting experience in film, theater, or digital media, with strong performance and improvisation skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret scripts related to medical, social, and climate issues
