Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Inventory Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability, accuracy, and strategic management of spare parts and materials required to support Schneider Electric’s Solar Utility Scale service operations. This role plays a critical part in securing service continuity for our customers by managing end‑to‑end order flows, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating closely with regional operations teams. The Planner acts as the Supply Chain Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the service organization within the assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

Order & Fulfillment Management

• Oversee the entire order management cycle, including converting purchase requisitions (PRs) into purchase orders (POs), tracking order status, and coordinating deliveries with the service center and service dispatcher teams.
• Maintain transparent visibility on all spare parts ordered for offline inverters and ensure strict prioritization to prevent customer production losses.

Operational Coordination





• Act as the Supply Chain SPOC for the local service operations leader, service dispatchers, and service technicians.
• Develop a strong understanding of preventive maintenance schedules, associated spare parts requirements, and inventory needs for corrective maintenance.

Inventory Optimization

• Monitor and control inventory levels at the local service center.
• In collaboration with business operations, establish and update safety stock parameters and replenishment processes twice per year for critical corrective‑maintenance spare parts.
• Identify inventory excess and propose corrective actions to optimize working capital and overall warehouse efficiency.

Planning & Forecasting

• Manage large‑volume preventive maintenance orders, ensuring they are placed up to one year in advance to provide a firm forecast signal to the factory.
