Role Description The Accountant role at Excelsia (India) Branding & Entertainment is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role includes preparing invoices, processing payments, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate documentation of all financial activities.



The Accountant will assist in monthly and annual closing, support budgeting and forecasting, and prepare basic financial reports for management. The position also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while coordinating with internal teams and external partners such as auditors and vendors.
Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, expense tracking, and preparation of basic financial statements and management reports.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and statutory filings relevant to Indian businesse
