Role Overview
The Manager – Financial Reporting will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial reporting process, including the preparation, consolidation, analysis, and disclosure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. The role requires robust technical expertise in Ind AS and IFRS, a thorough understanding of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, and the ability to manage external audits and drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes.
The incumbent will lead and develop a team of finance professionals, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, strengthen internal financial controls, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely and compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Consolidation
• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, statements of profit and loss, cash flow statements, and related disclosures, in accordance with applicable Ind AS and IFRS requirements.
• Manage the consolidation of financial statements and ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across reporting entities.
• Review financial results, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure the completeness and integrity of reported financial information.
• Ensure adherence to applicable statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements, including relevant SEBI regulations, wherever applicable.
2. Technical Accounting and Compliance
• Lead technical accounting assessments and research for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and other significant accounting matters.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda, documenting accounting positions, interpretations, and conclusions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
