Role Description The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding local neighborhood stores onto the Venio platform in the Pune District. This full-time, in office role involves conducting regular field visits, explaining Venio’s value proposition to merchants, and guiding them through registration and activation. The role includes maintaining strong relationships with store owners, providing basic product training,
and ensuring consistent engagement with the platform. The Field Sales Executive will monitor store performance, gather feedback from partners and customers, and collaborate with internal teams to improve marketplace operations. The position also requires meeting sales targets, reporting daily activities, and representing Venio professionally in all field interactions.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in field or direct sales.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with local merchants and small business owners.
• Good communication and presentation skills in relevant local languages and English.
• Comfort with using mobile apps and basic digital tools for onboarding and reporting.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
• Knowledge of the Pune District market and familiarity with local retail or FMCG
