We’re Hiring: AWS Network Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced AWS Network Security Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in AWS networking, cloud security, network segmentation, firewall management, and security monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement secure AWS network isolation for recovery environments, ensuring segregation from production and enterprise networks.
• Configure and manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateway (TGW), route tables, VPC attachments, and Route 53.
• Manage FortiGate firewalls, AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs (NACLs), and egress controls.
• Implement network segmentation, least-privilege access, and secure remote-access procedures.
• Integrate AWS infrastructure and application logs with SIEM solutions for monitoring and incident investigation.
• Support EDR, CSPM, vulnerability management, and cloud workload protection.
• Perform network isolation testing, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, security operations, and disaster recovery teams.





Mandatory Skills:
• AWS Networking and Cloud Security
• VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, and VPC Attachments
• Amazon Route 53 (Public and Private Hosted Zones)
• FortiGate Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting
• Security Groups, NACLs, and Egress Controls
• Network Segmentation and Isolation
• SIEM Integration and Log Forwarding
• Familiarity with EDR, CSPM, and Vulnerability Management Tools
• Experience securing enterprise or regulated workloads

Preferred Skills:
• Disaster Recovery / Cyber Recovery / Isolated Recovery Environments
• AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
• Zero-Trust Security and Break-Glass Access Procedures
• Terraform or Python for Infrastructure Automation

Primary Responsibility: Own the setup, implementation, and validation of AWS network isolation and associated security controls for recovery environments.
