About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, high-performing Senior .NET / C# Developer to join our engineering team on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and scaling modern cloud-native applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and frontend developers in an Agile environment to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain productive, reusable, and reliable C# code using modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6/7/8).
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and web applications integrated with cloud services.
• Design and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure (utilizing services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and Key Vault).
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through optimization and caching strategies.
• Implement robust unit testing (using NUnit/xUnit) and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing legacy software systems.
• Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Required Technical & Professional Skills
• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.
