Position Overview :-

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth, strengthen distribution, improve market penetration, and enhance brand visibility across the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing annual business plans in alignment with management objectives, driving secondary sales through the field sales team, expanding distribution through Sales Development Executives (SDEs), and ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing strategies in the market.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Sales & Business Development
• Prepare and execute annual business plans in alignment with management objectives and business targets.
• Drive primary and secondary sales growth across the assigned territory.
• Achieve sales targets through effective planning, execution, and regular performance reviews.
• Increase brand depth and width,



market penetration, outlet coverage, and product availability.
• Develop strategies to improve sales productivity and throughput from the field force.

2. Field Force Management & Productivity
• Drive secondary sales through the Vendor Sales Officers (VSOs) and field sales team.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of VSO performance, productivity, attendance, absenteeism, and attrition.
• Optimize field force deployment and man-days to improve sales efficiency.
• Build a robust talent pipeline for salesmen, Sales Supervisors (SS), and sub-distributors to ensure uninterrupted sales operations.
• Coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team with a strong ownership mindset.

3. Distribution Management & Expansion
• Work closely with SDEs to optimize beats and maximize the sales potential of each territory.
