Under broad supervision, responsible for a range of moderately complex engineering tasks in new product development projects associated with design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, mathematical modeling, sample building, manufacturing processes assessment, etc. to develop and implement new methods, designs and products. Writes engineering specifications and interprets/analyses test results. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

About This Role

Position Overview

This Designer is responsible for executing and supporting NPI’s, Research of new technologies or products, product design improvements, cost reduction initiatives,



and resolving technical challenges in existing products. This role supports Sustaining Engineering and Innovation teams, contributing to research, new product development through design, testing, and validation activities. The engineer will develop detailed models, specifications, and documentation while collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver robust, high-quality engineering solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of experience in executing research-based projects, new design, DoE, design updates, 3D models, drawings, and supporting documentation such as change justifications, tolerance analyses, and verification testing.
• Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling, preferably using SolidWorks and Robust knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
• Strong vendor communication and coordination skills, with proven ability to drive conversion act
