Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer with specialized experience in pharmaceutical packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of primary packaging machines for both Non-Parenteral (e.g., tablets, capsules, ointments, liquids) and Parenteral (e.g., vials, ampoules, pre-filled syringes, cartridges) applications. The position focuses on conceptual design, detailed engineering, prototyping, and continuous improvement of high-precision packaging equipment to meet stringent regulatory, quality, and performance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the New Product Development (NPD) cycle for primary packaging machines, from concept to commercialization.




• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components for high-speed packaging lines, including filling, sealing, labeling, and inspection modules.
• Perform detailed 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and engineering analysis (FEA, tolerance stack-up, kinematics) using industry-standard CAD software.
• Ensure designs comply with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Process Engineering to translate customer and regulatory needs into robust technical solutions.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and validation support (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new and existing equipment.
• Optimize machine performance for speed, accuracy, efficiency, cleanliness (cleanroom compatibility), and ease of maintenance.
