Experience: 20+ years within the manufacturing industry, 12-15 years of experience in the composite or related industry.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The role will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Composite Business, with end-to-end accountability for business growth, profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainability. The incumbent will drive business strategy, manufacturing excellence, sales and business development, innovation, financial performance, and organizational capability while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Business Leadership
· Develop and execute the long-term business strategy for the Composite Business in alignment with the organization's vision and growth objectives.
· Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and diversification opportunities across Defence, Aerospace and non-defence composite markets.




· Drive business expansion through new product development, technology adoption, capacity enhancement, and market penetration.
· Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain market leadership.
· Establish annual business plans, strategic initiatives, and performance objectives to achieve sustainable growth.
Business Growth, Sales & Market Development
· Develop and implement commercial strategies to accelerate revenue growth and increase market share across existing and new business segments.
· Lead key customer acquisition initiatives and strengthen relationships with strategic customers, OEMs, government organizations, defence establishments, EPC companies, and industrial clients.
· Drive the entire business development lifecycle, including chance identification, bidding strategy, contract negotiations, and order conversion.
