About the job

Please note that prior knowledge & hands-on experience of tour packages, destinations, and good communication skills are a must for this. We are also not looking for an experienced candidate, citing budget constraints. Request you to please keep these in consideration before applying. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused 'Travel Consultant /Sr Travel Consultant - Holiday Packages' to design, sell, and manage domestic and international holiday packages. The role involves understanding client travel requirements, creating customised itineraries, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring seamless travel experiences for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle inquiries for domestic and international holiday packages via calls, emails, and walk-ins.
2. Understand client preferences, budget, and travel goals to propose suitable holiday packages.
3. Prepare and share customised itineraries, quotations, and proposals.
4. Follow up with clients to close bookings and achieve sales targets.
5. Design tailor-made and fixed-departure holiday packages.
6. Coordinate with hotels, DMCs, transport providers, airlines, and activity vendors.
7. Manage bookings for hotels, sightseeing, transfers, and activities.
8. Ensure timely confirmations, vouchers, and travel documents.
9. Prepare itineraries, vouchers, invoices, and service confirmations.
10. Coordinate with visa teams for documentation support (where applicable).
11. Maintain accurate client records and booking details in CRM/system.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.
13. Provide pre-travel, during-travel,



and post-travel assistance to clients.
14. Handle client queries, changes, and complaints efficiently.
15. Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
16. Stay updated on destinations, hotel products, airline policies, visa rules, and travel trends.
17. Assist in creating promotional packages and seasonal offers.
18. Provide competitive analysis and pricing insights.

1. CRM / Travel Booking Systems
2. Google Suite (Sheets, Doc, Slides, Gmail, Drive, etc.)
3. Email & Communication Platforms

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)-

1. Monthly sales targets & conversion ratio.
2. Client satisfaction and repeat bookings.
3. Accuracy of bookings and documentation.
4. Turnaround time for proposals and confirmations.

7. Graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or any related field (preferred).

8. 1+ years of experience in holiday packages/leisure travel.

9. Experience working with DMCs, hotels, and tour operators.

10. Knowledge of GDS (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre) is an added advantage (but not mandatory).
