Role Description The Lead Data Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The person in this role will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures in ICEBERG and REDSHIFT for IFRS 117 Project. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, implementing robust ETL processes, optimizing data models and data warehouses, and ensuring data quality and reliability.



The Lead Data Engineer will also guide junior team members, contribute to data governance practices, and support advanced data analytics initiatives to improve decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
• Strong data engineering skills, including experience with modern data platforms, pipeline orchestration, and distributed data processing.
• Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing, with the ability to design efficient, scalable, and well-documented data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, including building, monitoring, and optimizing batch and real-time data flows. Working in AWS EMR serverless environment would be a big plus
• Experience in data analytics, including working with analytical tools or languages to support reporting and insight generation.
• Solid programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar) and familiarity with cloud data services and
