Purpose / Mission

Lead Design Engineer - NPD is responsible for leading the development of oil-injected screw compressor products, delivering robust engineering solutions that improve Time-to-Market, On-time Delivery, and First Time Right performance. The role combines project execution, technical leadership, mentoring, cross-functional coordination,



and engineering automation while ensuring delivery to quality, cost, safety, and schedule objectives across GECIA and Product Company locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Customer Focus
• Lead assigned NPD projects or engineering work packages from requirement clarification through the product development cycle.
• Plan activities, estimate engineering effort, allocate tasks, and define clear deliverables and priorities.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and drive recovery actions to meet project milestones.
• Provide accurate reporting on project status, resource needs, dependencies, quality concerns, and technical risks.
• Translate customer and product requirements into reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.
