About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced insurance professional to develop and grow our Insurance Advisory Business. The candidate will be responsible for providing insurance portfolio advisory services, analysing clients' insurance requirements, identifying coverage gaps, acquiring current clients, and generating business revenue.
Key Responsibilities1. Insurance Advisory & Portfolio Analysis
• Review insurance portfolios of retail, SME, and corporate clients.
• Identify coverage gaps, policy exclusions, limitations, and potential risks.
• Recommend suitable insurance solutions and risk management improvements.
• Prepare insurance portfolio review reports and advisory presentations.
2. Business Development & Sales
• Identify and acquire new retail, SME, and corporate advisory clients.
• Develop business opportunities through networking, referrals, and direct client meetings.
• Generate leads, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and convert prospects into clients.
• Achieve monthly and annual business development and revenue targets.
• Build relationships with business owners, HR, Finance, and senior management.
3. Client Relationship Management
• Understand client requirements and provide insurance-related guidance.
• Conduct client meetings and present portfolio analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain long-term relationships and improve client retention.
• Identify opportunities to expand advisory services to existing clients.
4. Claims & Risk Management Support
• Guide clients on claims procedures and documentation requirements within the company's permitted scope.
• Identify potential business risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
5. Reporting & Compliance
• Maintain client databases, sales pipelines, and follow-up records.
• Prepare periodic business development and revenue reports.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and the company's authorised scope of services.
