Global VAT reporting requirements are becoming increasingly complex and audit driven. This role ensures customers successfully implement Avalara’s SVR solutions to achieve accurate, compliant, and timely statutory reporting. The Implementation Consultant (SVR) owns end-to-end delivery of VAT reporting implementations, translating tax and regulatory requirements into scalable system configurations and ensuring customers achieve compliance with minimal manual effort.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

Roles and Responsibilities:





• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex SVR implementations across multi-entity and multi-country environments.
• Translate complex VAT regulations into scalable reporting configurations, rules, and data models.
• Design and validate end-to-end tax data flows, reconciliation logic, and reporting outputs.
• Integrate SVR solutions with ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) ensuring data integrity.
• Drive advanced data validation, reconciliation, and audit-readiness processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for VAT reporting, guiding customers and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve complex data, reporting, and compliance issues with minimal escalation.
• Lead customer workshops and influence decision-making on reporting design and compliance strategy.
• Build reusable reporting frameworks, templates, and accelerators to improve scalability.
• Mentor junior consultants and elevate team capability in VAT reporting and data validation practic
