Electrical Design Engineer – Junior & Senior Levels
SMEC Automation is expanding its Electrical Design & Engineering team and is looking for experienced and emerging professionals to join us in Kochi / Mumbai.

We are currently hiring for:

Junior Electrical Design Engineer — 1–3 years experience
Senior Electrical Design Engineer — 5–8 years experience

Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, Industrial Automation, Control Panels or Electrical Engineering projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

For Junior Engineers:
• Support electrical design and engineering activities
• Prepare SLDs, schematics and electrical drawings
• Assist with panel layouts and wiring drawings
• Prepare cable schedules and termination details
• Support engineering documentation
• Assist in design reviews and project execution

For Senior Engineers:
• Lead electrical design and engineering activities
• Review SLDs, schematics and electrical drawings
• Oversee cable schedules and termination engineering




• Review panel and switchboard designs
• Prepare and review engineering documentation
• Coordinate design requirements across project teams

Technical Skills• AutoCAD Electrical
• EPLAN
• Electrical schematics and SLDs
• Panel and switchboard design
• Cable schedules and terminations
• Electrical engineering documentation

QualificationB.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
