ABOUT THE ROLE
To manage inbound and outbound logistics operations,
ensure uninterrupted material flow to production, optimize inventory and transportation costs, and maintain compliance with customer delivery requirements in an automotive manufacturing setting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inbound Logistics Management
• Ensure timely receipt of raw materials, components, and packaging materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams for seamless material movement.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and address logistics-related issues.
2. Production Logistics
• Ensure line-side material availability to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, and Stores teams.
3. Outbound Logistics & Dispatch
• Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer schedules.
• Monitor transportation arrangements and vehicle placement.
