Key Responsibilities

•
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
•
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
•
• Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests using Apache JMeter.
•
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
•
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
•
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
•
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
•
• Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and support root-cause analysis of application issues.
•
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.
•
• Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards across releases.
•




• Proactively identify opportunities to improve test automation efficiency and overall QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
•
• Solid proficiency in Playwright for browser-based automation.
•
• Good experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
•
• Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing.
•
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for test automation.
•
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
•
• Good understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum practices.
•
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
•
• Ability to analyse test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes.
