About the Prospect
Jarurat Care Foundation is looking for a compassionate and motivated Caregiver Counselling Intern to
support patients and caregivers at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Parel, Mumbai.
This opportunity will provide hands-on exposure to patient counselling, healthcare documentation,
hospital operations, and caregiver support in a clinical environment. The role is suited for individuals
who are empathetic, eager to learn, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives
of patients and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect, organize,



and maintain accurate patient and caregiver information and records.
• Help patients and caregivers understand hospital documents and processes in simple
language.
• Provide compassionate emotional support and assist with patient/caregiver concerns.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to support smooth communication and help patients navigate
hospital services.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information.
• Support the counselling team with daily activities, documentation, and basic computer-based
record updates.
• Identify patient concerns, escalate them appropriately, and contribute to improving the patient
and caregiver experience.
