This role is vital for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of young patients, offering specialized support in critical care environments such as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse range of pediatric conditions.
• Provide specialized care and monitoring within the NICU and PICU settings for critically ill newborns and children.
• Manage emergency medical situations with composure, ensuring rapid and effective intervention for young patients.
• Establish a comforting rapport with children to alleviate fear and anxiety associated with medical procedures, including vaccinations and blood draws.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and families to coordinate holistic care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records while adhering to all hospital protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1+ year of relevant clinical experience in pediatric medicine.
• Proven expertise in managing NICU, PICU, and emergency pediatric cases.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural aptitude for connecting with young patients and calming their fears.
• Deep empathy and the ability to remain composed and supportive during stressful medical moments.
