We are seeking an experienced IGCSE Business Studies Teacher for a reputed school in Jaipur who can inspire students to develop commercial awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, and a strong understanding of business principles.

Role & Responsibilities

Deliver engaging IGCSE Business Studies lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards for Grades 9–10.

Teach key business concepts, including business activity, human resource management, marketing, operations management, financial information, and external influences on business.

Develop differentiated lesson plans, assessments, case studies, and enrichment activities that encourage analytical and critical thinking.

-

Integrate real-world business examples, current economic developments, and practical applications to enhance conceptual understanding.

Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations, focusing on case-study analysis, structured responses, application of business concepts, and examination techniques.

-

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted interventions.

Collaborate with department heads and fellow educators to strengthen curriculum planning, instructional practices, and student outcomes.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades, and student feedback in accordance with school policies.





Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

-

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies (0450) curriculum.

Ability to teach business concepts through case studies, practical examples, and inquiry-based learning.

Excellent classroom management and differentiated lesson-planning skills.

Proficiency in Cambridge IGCSE assessment objectives, examination patterns, and marking criteria.

Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Classroom.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Ability to develop students' analytical, evaluative, and business decision-making skills.

Preferred

Previous teaching experience in a Cambridge IGCSE or international curriculum school.

Familiarity with Cambridge assessment standards and past-paper preparation strategies.

Ability to teach AS & A Level Business (9609) or Economics.

Experience integrating EdTech platforms such as Kahoot, Quizizz, and other digital learning resources.

Ability to facilitate entrepreneurship projects, business simulations, and student-led business activities.
