Position: Design Quality Engineer (DQE, R&D;)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Role Summary:
Responsible for ensuring vehicle components and designs meet quality, reliability, manufacturability, and customer requirements throughout product development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review product requirements, drawings, CAD, BOMs, and specifications

- Identify design risks and quality issues

- Support DFMEA, Design Reviews, DVP&R;, and risk assessments

- Track design issues during prototype, testing, production, and service

- Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, Pareto, etc.

- Support corrective/preventive actions and design improvements

- Assist prototype builds,



validation, and engineering change management

- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, production, and engineering teams

Key Skills:

- Mechanical / Automotive Engineering fundamentals

- Engineering Drawings & 3D CAD

- GD&T; and Tolerance Analysis

- Root Cause Analysis / 8D

- DFMEA / DVP&R;

- Manufacturing Processes

- Engineering Change Management

- Vehicle Assembly & Issue Tracking

Preferred: PLM/PDM, Quality Management Systems, automotive standards, and supplier coordination.
