Policyfy.com (BYR Insurance Brokers) is seeking an ambitious and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our Commercial Lines Insurance portfolio. This is a dynamic field sales role focused on non-employee benefits (Non-EB) corporate insurance. You will be responsible for new client acquisition, high-level networking, and managing critical corporate portfolios.

Role & responsibilities

- New Client Acquisition: Source and secure new corporate accounts for commercial lines insurance (Non-EB).
- CXO Engagement: Cultivate, build, and nurture solid professional relationships with CXOs and corporate decision-makers.
- Portfolio Analysis: Evaluate clients' existing insurance portfolios and accurately assess their risk management requirements.
- Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and execute a rolling monthly sales prospect pipeline projected for six months.
- Product Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Fire, Marine, Engineering,



and Liability insurance products to pitch tailored solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with both internal underwriting/operations teams and external corporate clients.
- Retention & Renewals: Drive proactive customer retention strategies and seamlessly oversee the annual policy renewal process.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Any Graduate
- Experience: 5 + years of proven experience within an insurance brokerage or an insurance company, specifically operating in the corporate/B2B vertical.
- Core Skills: Strong background in field sales with a solid grasp of commercial asset and liability insurance lines.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills tailored for corporate executives.
