• Experience in Informatica Power Center (Designer, Repository &Workflow; Manager)
• Experience in building complex SQL queries & Shell Scripting • Excellent understanding of various data base models Oracle/SQL server • Robust on DW fundamentals & concepts
- Experience in extracting, transforming and loading data from different sources like Flat Files, Database (oracle, SQL server), Mainframe files.
Role & responsibilities
- Interacting with Business Analyst and understanding the requirements.
- Understanding the mapping requirements and building the mappings/sessions/workflows
- Informatica mapping & Database performance tuning
- Identifying the performance bottlenecks in Informatica and fine tuning them
- Creating Shell scripting to automate the daily repetitive tasks.
- Creating test cases and documenting the Unit test Results
- Scheduling the jobs using Autosys or any scheduling tool.
